Cyrus D. Shahmir

After graduating from NYU, Cyrus began his TV & Film career in the Sound Department, working for the Adult Swim series AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE and HARVEY BIRDMAN. He served as composer, sound designer and music supervisor for the Comedy Central series JEFF AND SOME ALIENS and composed the featured song for David Gordon Green’s YOUR HIGHNESS. He was sound mixer for Tyler Perry for seven years and is currently working on S4 of HBO/MAX series RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES.

With connections and years of experience gained on set and in post, he shifted to producing and developing original films and series, including a feature with WALKING DEAD alums.
